I'm trying to find the best opjening move.. can anyoone give advice? I tend to open with e4 but I'm lookking for the move that forces a win for a whitee.. or a draw if the game is a draw. What is the move?
34 ( +1 | -1 ) olympioYou know what, 1.e4 leads to mate after 246 moves. 1.d4 takes about 260 moves. While most other moves lead to a win for black, 1.c4 leads to mate black in 168 moves. However, I hope you will excuse me from providing all this massive analysis on this forum. IT runs into thousands of pages....
51 ( +1 | -1 ) re-I find that the best move is to sit down quietly at the chessboard , whistle -(The Bridge On The River Kwai) is my favorite one , then very very quietly extend your arm forward grasp the nearest little pawn and pick it up , then suddenly slam it down on a convenient square , while all the time giving a awesome menacing glare at your opponent !! Works for me every time . Why i even been known to draw using this very method ! yours bluebabygirl .
48 ( +1 | -1 ) thinking in the boxRe bluebabygirl. I have found if you obtain a large cardboard box (preferably one that housed a tv) and cut one hole on the right side, then a tiny slit in the front, you can go to any tournament, sit inside the box, observe the board through the slit, extend your hand out at the proper time and make your move. This generally instills fear in your opponent, and it is perfectly legal. Naturally, if you're left handed, you should cut a hole on the other side. I hope this helps.
32 ( +1 | -1 ) BOX!Are you serious about that. I mean sitting in a box to make your moves. How can that be legal!!! Thats just not right and it's really not creepy but super wierd. Imagine if you won an award after playing through that box and then they shoot the ceremony to show it on local TV and people see you in that ridiculous box!!!
22 ( +1 | -1 ) re- to buddy2i do not need a box to cover my face . im quite pretty ,,,thank you for the suggestion and I hope the box worked well for you !! by the way I am lefthanded . also i try to instill respect not fear . other posting was a joke as im sure you knew . yours bluebabygirl
6 ( +1 | -1 ) I thinkThat the box idea is to give the impression that you are 'The Turk' No.2?
23 ( +1 | -1 ) to anyfunny ,, but I have played people in person that I wished were in a box , well at least their head anyway lol . And i have played and lost so badly that often I wished that I was in a box lol .yours bluebabygirl
6 ( +1 | -1 ) back to the topicWe all know very well that c4 is the best move of all.
12 ( +1 | -1 ) anybest move is always the one you make just before you say CHECKMATE!! yours bluebabygirl - im back on topic kremator
9 ( +1 | -1 ) NoThe best move is the move that has two exclamation marks after it. Example : 22. ... Qxf1!!
7 ( +1 | -1 ) g3i've started playing g3 and building a house..
it looks really pretty :)
12 ( +1 | -1 ) to olympiog3 yes cool how many rooms in your new house ??????????????????????????Any G rooms ?? Which is really pretty the game or the house??? yours bbg
28 ( +1 | -1 ) i guess both..just arrange the pieces g3 Nf3 Bg2 O-O then advance a d or e pawn.. then tell me if that looks pretty?
then play some games that way.. and tel me the defensive structure doesn't lend itself to very nice long and positional games.. (the best looking imo)
9 ( +1 | -1 ) 1. f3! or 1. Na3!according to the chessmaster 9000 database, the only opening moves with 100% win for white is f3 and Na3
8 ( +1 | -1 ) YesThey were either played by grandmasters against amateurs or by two amateurs.
