209 ( +1 | -1 ) Suggestion for drawoffer/resignation rulesWe talked about this some days ago. I have thought about it and this is what I came up with:
############ After move 30 it is possible to offer and draw or resign. Any player posting a move can suggest to his team to offer a draw or resign the game. The team then vote on the suggestion. The team captain counts the votes from the team members. The vote is valid if 2/3 of the team votes and is desided by simple majority rules (the team captain has two votes in case of a tie). In case of less than 2/3 of the team voting the game continues.
The captain can also at any time (after move 30) call for a vote on a draw offer or resignation.
From the time of the request the team has 3 days to vote. The game will be paused during the voting. ##########
The number of moves can be lowered. If I do not hear any protests over the next days then the above is the rule.
31 ( +1 | -1 ) *** argh...there is a saying in germany: "_Little_ sins are punished instantly by God." Not only should I be studying for exams, but also I shouldn't be playing because I am having the flu at the moment... My blitz rating dropped for almost 200 points during the last week(!) - I take the blame for screwing up with black yet again...
18 ( +1 | -1 ) No problem alberlie ...We all have our good days and off-days. (I'm having an off-week ... at Least! Hoping it is not an off-millenium :)) I think you and olean_don have got em stumped here anyways :) As their clock ticks on ...
4 ( +1 | -1 ) Come on......It's 'Yeee-Haaa!' time, guys...
7 ( +1 | -1 ) Can I already play or do I have to wait another move Iona?
31 ( +1 | -1 ) 33. Rxc7we should not lose this on time ;-)
9 ( +1 | -1 ) Hmmm ...Question for the WT team. You're not all planning to fly thru a Hurricane together in a Piper Cub are you ... anytime soon?!
5 ( +1 | -1 ) One thing at a time......we haven't got walking on water quite right yet...
16 ( +1 | -1 ) ...and I can take the sunday off trying to decide whether 31. Kf7 was a Fehler, blunder, Fingerfehler, mistake, Patzer, error, Dummzug, fingerslip or something of a category yet to be defined. (:o/

8 ( +1 | -1 ) Ooer!Black has a pawn at h7?! Have I made a c*** up when playing through the game?
6 ( +1 | -1 ) Ah white snucked in a more thereSorry i cant play today team. Someone?
19 ( +1 | -1 ) I thought we might save a bit of space......by writing the position, and recording from there. At least having the position available at move 34 saves having to play through the whole game to get the position right! ;-) Cheers, Ion
61 ( +1 | -1 ) 35...Kd7Good idea ionadowman. I wish there were someway to get an actual board of the postion. We had that back in forum game one or two, but I dont know how it was done. Anyone? ****

2 ( +1 | -1 ) appelfflap ...Too bad! The cupboards are bare Now! }8-p) :)
17 ( +1 | -1 ) Is this what you mean ccmcacollister? The current position: -> img.photobucket.com
3 ( +1 | -1 ) mattdw ...YES!! Hey that is GREAT. Is it hard to do?
107 ( +1 | -1 ) It's not too difficult to do, though it may take a short while the first time (it takes less than a minute once you are used to the order): 1. Set up the position on the analysis board 2. Press 'Print Screen' (its usually somewhere above the delete key) 3. Open Paint (or something better if you have it) 4. Paste the image (Ctrl+V or from the 'edit>paste' in the drop down menu') 5. Crop the image using the correct tool (usually designated by a dotted box - just drag a square around the board part of the image and then cut or copy it (Ctrl+C or X) 6. Paste it into a new image (or paste as new image if you are using a better program than Paint) 7. Save as a JPEG 8. Upload it to a picture hosting site: I use -> www.photobucket.com 9. Paste the link that the site provides into the forum and voila!
It sounds like a lot but it really is quite a simple process when you are used to it and #1 will probably take more time than #2-#9! If any of that is not clear then feel free to ask! :)
