Bravesfan; Re:other good openings About other good openings...If you are going to play the ones you listed, I think a couple good "backup" openings to giveyou some diversity would be: The Polugaevsky var. of the Najdorf Sicilian(BL plays an early b5), to backup your Dragon. And the Goring Gambit to back-up your Evans Gambit. Much of the skills and positional understanding learned from your first choices would be transferable to these.

Dragon book If you plan on playing the Dragon (which I strongly recommend), you should definitely get "Winning with the Sicilian Dragon 2" by GM Chris Ward.
