57 ( +1 | -1 ) There are a lot out thereThe one I use most is ChessPad ( www.wmlsoftware.com ), which (while not the shiniest program out there) has a lot of features for its size. If I'm annotating my own games, I often use a different program called ChessCat ( www.chesscat.loncarek.de ), which is a little more intuitive for that purpose. But there are literally dozens of PGN readers out there, so don't hesitate to download a bunch and see for yourself which one you like.
50 ( +1 | -1 ) Apologies......if the ChessCat download is not as advertised. The thing's been on my computer for years, so I obviously haven't tried to download it for a while.
There is a free ChessBase "Light" version that I tried a while back, but it seemed to be a weird balance of too many less useful features vs. too many restricted, more useful features. You might want to give it a twirl. www.chessbase.com
